Our Story
Co-founders Jorge Carpio and Jennifer Fuentes set out to sell traditional straws. Until their own research showed why reusable straws weren't cutting into plastic waste: people already own one, they just never carry it. So they turned the straw into something you never have to remember, because you never take it off.

Our Mascot
Our mascot is inspired by the sea turtle, an animal deeply affected by ocean pollution. Choosing it reflects wristraw's commitment to recycling, reducing single-use plastics, and protecting the environment.
Wris is a sea turtle for a reason: plastic straws end up in the ocean, and turtles are the ones who meet them there. He carries that reminder, so the rest of the page doesn't have to.

It lives inside a BPA-free silicone case: one end permanently sealed, the other featuring a twist-and-lock cap that opens and closes with a simple turn. The clasp is titanium, a separate material, because its flexible arms need that exact give. Premium materials, engineered to be worn.
